What is GouareK?

All the answers to your questions are here:

Internships and accommodation take place at Lycée du Cleusmeur in Lesneven (29), France. They are intended for an adult audience.
The price includes the courses, the shuttle from the station (Landerneau) or the airport (Guipavas) to the center on your departure and/or arrival, meals and individual rooms.

The courses are from Monday to Friday evening, but you can arrive on Sunday and leave on Saturday at no additional cost.

What content?

International professional improvisers are invited to bring you 5 days and work on their concepts, their visions, their conceptions of theatrical improvisation.

We offer courses for beginners to confirmed adepts, in an exotic setting, where you will be accommodated, fed and pampered during these 5 days.

What daily?

The workshops are every day, Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; except Wednesday where it is only in the morning. A “representation” is possible, but absolutely not obligatory. This is at the discretion of the trainer.

Breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner are included. We try as much as possible to work locally, and to make local players work.

However, we are attentive to your diets and your desires. Don't hesitate to send us your recommendations throughout the week!

The rest of the time, we will try to concoct a program for you so that you can experience an unforgettable week. In the evening, you and the trainers are free to create your own meeting: board game tournament, improv cabarets, moonlight discussions, workshop on an improv theme, karaoke, etc...

The premises are reserved for us, however please pay attention to the neighbours.

Accommodation is in a single room.

Pillows and bedding (sheets, duvets, etc.) are not provided, they must be brought.

And earplugs either. The weeks are intensive, and even if it's a pleasure to get together and to be able to share as much time as possible together, remember to manage your sleep well.

In English ?

Some stages are said to be "international".

We work hard to bring in the world's cream of improvisation and it turns out that some of them are not French-speaking at all.

For internships in English, don't worry, we don't ask you for a TOEIC or a complete mastery of the language.

If you already understand someone who speaks English, that you know how to answer questions, that is more than enough. Don't hold yourself back because of potential mistakes you might make.
However, if English is unknown to you or if you "suffer" just to be able to answer the slightest question, understand that over 5 days of training, it is not certain that you will be able to follow the pace without being in difficulty.
